Old Tradition
Joe Dinkelbach- piano, Frans van Geest - bass and Hans Dekker - drums know each other from the 80', when they studied music at the Hilversums Conservatory/ Netherlands.
They accompanied as well artists like Allard Buwalda, Jesse van Ruller, Martijn Sohier and many others but also played a lot in old Amsterdams bars,
clubs and hotels. The album Old Tradition is the first release of this trio and presents some of Joe's latest compositions,
played in oldschool style of the great bebop and swing masters like one of their teachers, Henk Elkerbout, to whom this album is dedicated.
